Priming you for something a little different

I passed this in the street in Soho - and paused for a moment. This pump was the one Dr Jon Snow persuaded the authorities to turn off which saved hundreds of lives and proved that cholera is a water borne disease and can be  beaten. The pub behind is named after the great man. Spare a thought and say a prayer for the people of Zimbabwe thousands of whom are dying from a disease quite unnecesssarily because their leader claims there is no cholera and any way its all someone else's fault.
