I heard on the radio this morning that the world's first conference devoted to all things boring is running today. It has come about as a consequence of the cancellation of this year's Interesting conference in London. Tip o'the hat to Russell Davies for starting off the sequence (or who was he following?). It is making me ponder how we measure the travel and replication of ideas on the internet. Boring has been brought about by interesting. Actually the space caused by a cancellation of Interesting. So how are we supposed to track that?
