There's a bit of excitement in our household at the moment. Its the world junior championships. And Jodie who is a member of the Herts Phoenix athletics club my daughter also belongs to. Is set to do rather well. Both of them are 16 years old but Jodie is rapidly heading for the top of the sport. Here's the stats. She has run 149 races. And won every single one. So she's never been overtaken by anybody. The question is when that is likely to happen. It must happen soon because she is now competing with sprinters who are 4 years older and whose best performance times are better than her own. She won the world 100 metres gold last night. Against expectations. Next she is running the 200 metres. Is anyone going to overtake her this time? We're going to have to wait and see.
